Coming soon. Dynamic Memory is on the roadmap. Today, durable personalization happens through your System Prompt. The Memory data layer is being built behind the scenes; this page will fill in as it ships.

What Memory will be

Memory is Foundry learning about you from your chats and using that across new chats — without you having to repeat yourself. Examples we expect to support:
  • Projects you talk about. “Working on the Acme launch” mentioned once; remembered for follow-ups.
  • Formatting preferences. You ask for tables in comparison answers a few times; Foundry starts defaulting to that.
  • Domain context. You’re in fintech, you build in Postgres, you use Rust on the backend.

How it’ll differ from System Prompt

  • System Prompt is static. You write it once; the model reads it every turn.
  • Memory is dynamic. Foundry extracts facts from your chats over time, stores them, and surfaces them where they apply.

Today’s workaround

Until Memory ships, capture durable preferences in your System Prompt. It’s not automatic, but it works.
